With the introduction of the Children's and Families act 2014. there came big changes to how children and young people should be supported in Education. The Children's and Families Act brought about the Educational, Health and Care plan, designed to bring these three sectors (Education, Health and Social care) together to provide better support for children and young people throughout their education up to 25. This new process is often reported as more confusing as its former counterpart, the Statement of Educational needs.
