ASD Helping Hands is an organization that provides various professional services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. They aim to improve the quality of life for people with ASD by providing comprehensive support and resources.
Visual Aid Shop
Our shop offers visual aids to help individuals with ASD communicate effectively, improve social interaction, and reduce anxiety. We provide a range of products such as picture schedules, communication boards, social stories, and visual timers.
External Training / Speaker
Our courses are developed especially for professionals and school staff who work directly with individuals with a range of Autism Spectrum conditions as well as any associated Mental Health conditions that they experience.
All of our trainers not only have excellent theoretical knowledge of their subject areas but a personal experience of the difficulties those on the spectrum experience. All of our trainers either have a son/daughter or a family member on the Autistic Spectrum, giving them not only a professional but a personal touch to the training they deliver.
Assessments
We are able to carry out Sensory Profiles, School refusal, and extreme demand avoidance Screening questionnaires.
Useful for evidence in Benefit claims and appeals.
