ASD Helping Hands prides itself in delivering effective, interactive, and tangible training that benefits not only the learners but those they support and work with, including their wider teams.
We support a large range of children and adults from across the Autism Spectrum and use this experience to influence and drive the training programs we use. Using a combination of interactive sessions, activities, and a discussion-based environment, we aim to get everyone involved, contributing and exploring as many different points of view as possible.
Our courses are developed especially for professionals and school staff who work directly with individuals with a range of Autism Spectrum conditions as well as any associated Mental Health conditions that they experience.
All of our trainers not only have excellent theoretical knowledge of their subject areas but a personal experience of the difficulties those on the spectrum experience. All of our trainers either have a son/daughter or a family member on the Autistic Spectrum, giving them not only a professional but a personal touch to the training they deliver.
All our training can be delivered on your own premises and we offer packages for half/full day and evening sessions. We are happy to discuss your training requirements and all courses can be adjusted to meet your organisation’s specific needs.
Training Courses we offer include:
- Autism Awareness
- PDA Awareness
- ADHD Awareness
- Autism in the Classroom
- Autism and the Sensory World
- Autism and ADHD- the Co-morbid Conditions
- Girls on the Spectrum
- Managing challenging behaviour
