A 4-week course for the parents and carers whose children are suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorders or have just been diagnosed with ASD.
This course is held in person at our main offices.
Course contents
-Triad of Impairment -The Autism Spectrum -Co-morbid conditions and mental health
-The Anger Mountain-The Brain -How to support behaviour -Understanding how parenting can affect behaviour -ABC charts
-The seven senses -Hypersensitivity vs hyposensitivity -Arousal states -Supporting sensory difficulties
-Difficulties with communication -Using visual aids to help communication

No, this course is delivered in Person at our offices in Dereham, Norfolk. There is no option to join virtually. We do have an online version of the course that you can find here: Just Diagnosed? Online
Not at all. This course is designed for people who have little to no knowledge of Autism SPectrum Disorders and neurodiversity. It is a perfect place to start learning about Neurodiveristy.
